Dana Fund
For Now. Forever.
The Dana Fund is the School’s working capital. Meeting (or exceeding) our annual goal is critical to ensure we can deliver the exceptional living and learning experiences that are synonymous with Dana Hall.
Our operating budget depends on your contributions. From athletic equipment and extracurriculars to enrichment initiatives like the Global Scholars Certificate Program, the Dana Fund supports the full breadth of experiences that allow students to explore, discover, and excel. An unrestricted Dana Fund gift of any size directly and immediately impacts the life of every fearless member of the Dana Hall community.
Here’s a look at the Dana Fund in action:
- Unrestricted support is key to our financial aid offering, providing us with necessary funds to support the needs of our students.
- Contributions enable professional development opportunities for our faculty members.
- Contributions help reduce the tuition gap, as $9,700 represents the average annual cost of one student’s education not covered by tuition.
- Dana Fund dollars provide the school with immediate-use resources, ensuring we’re prepared for emergency situations like COVID-19.

I give because I want to be able to see someone like myself as a current student. There are so many talented young women at Dana who rely on financial aid just like me, and I want them to have the same opportunities that I did.
