An endowment is a fund established to provide an organization with a perpetual source of income. It is typically invested, and the earnings generated support specific initiatives, scholarships, or programs.

A comprehensive campaign, like Fearless Futures, counts all donations, including support of the Dana Fund, towards our goal of $75 million. 

Like nearly all independent schools, Dana Hall relies on Dana Fund donations to meet the annual operating budget and other donations for major projects through special campaigns like Fearless Futures. Dana Hall's last comprehensive campaign, Ensuring the Legacy, concluded in 2009 when the school raised $30.3 million.

The entire Dana Hall community benefits from the campaign as it supports the School's mission of educating and empowering young women. Current and future students will benefit from improved academic spaces and the recruitment of a more diverse student body. Current and future faculty will gain opportunities for professional development and expansion of curriculum opportunities. 

First, we are grateful for your gift to the Dana Fund! The Dana Fund remains a top priority, and because Fearless Futures is comprehensive, every gift helps us reach our $75 million goal.
